Lakers Roll to 2-1 Series Lead

Led by Anthony Davis' 34 points and 11 rebounds, the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Phoenix Suns 109-95 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals. LeBron James added 21 points, six rebounds, and nine assists as the Lakers held on to win their home opener and take a 2-1 series lead.

The Lakers got off to a slow start, trailing by 10 points in the first quarter. However, they rallied in the second quarter, outscoring the Suns 31-18 to take a 49-43 lead at halftime. The Lakers continued to build on their lead in the third quarter, taking a 12-point advantage into the fourth quarter.

The Suns made a run in the fourth quarter, cutting the Lakers' lead to six points with just over three minutes remaining. However, LeBron James took over the game down the stretch, scoring eight points in the final 3:06 to seal the victory.

The Lakers were also aided by some big plays from their role players. Austin Reaves hit a key three-pointer with just over two minutes remaining to give the Lakers a five-point lead. DeAndre Jordan made a big block late in the game to preserve the Lakers' lead.

The Lakers will now have a chance to take a 3-1 series lead when they host the Suns in Game 4 on Wednesday night.
